I am receiving an DF024 error when I want to re-install LIGHTROOM (WINDOWS)
Exit Code: 7

Try setting correct permissions to the specified file/folder or parent folder, so that admin has rights to modify it.(Seq 2415)

Same step again :
1) Run Microsoft Fix it tool and select Uninstalling option .
check if the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is listed , is yes, uninstall it .

2) Navigate to C: Program Files > Adobe .
If present delete Adobe Photoshop Lightroom folder,
We will try with Hidden Administrator account :
Step 1)
Click on Start menu button and then in the search box type in as CMD.
In the search results list , locate the option Command Prompt.

If present delete Adobe Photoshop Lightroom folder,
Step 2)
Clear Temp folder.
Please press Windows+R button together and you will get a run command window, please type-in %temp% and hit enter.
Delete all contents present inside temp folder.
Step 3)
we will set the permissions to Adobe folder under Common Files folder.
Navigate to C: > Program Files(x86) >Common Files .
Under Common Files folder locate Adobe folder ,.
Right click on Adobe folder and select Properties option.
Uncheck Read only option and click Apply.
If it prompts error ignore all .
Click on Security tab.
Click on Edit button .
Click on user names listed in the Group or User name section.
Then tick the box next to Full Control under Allow .
Provide Full control all user names :
Like SYSTEM, Administrator, Your Current logged in user name , Trusted Installers..etc
All must have Full Control.
Then click Apply and then OK.
If you get any error message while applying privileges , click on ignore all option.
Then launch Creative Cloud desktop application and try to install Lightroom application again and check.

I couldn't detete all contents present inside temp folder.

You can skip the files which cannot be deleted.
Also Ignore those errors while applying changes.
Select Ignore all option .

but the error continuos

It will open Command Prompt window in elevated mode.
Step 2)
Now copy below command then right click on Command Prompt black screen window and select Paste option and press Enter key.
net user administrator /active:yes
You should see a message that the command completed successfully.
Step 3)
Restart the computer and login to user account named " Administrator" and then try to install Adobe Creative Cloud application and check.
It is better to remove the folders I had mentioned earlier and then try to install ,
Once logged in to Hidden Admin account , try to install Lightroom application and check,

I had to uninstall everything and restart from the beggining!!!!

Wow , glad to hear that.
I was about to say that , so I asked whether you had installed any other Adobe apps.
Its great , that you figured it out by yourself, Bravo
Good to know information:
In near future , if you are willing perform complete removal process.
In order to avoid future issue or conflict with new Adobe Installation from beginning , it necessary to remove associated Adobe folders as well.
Once you reinstall, fresh new Adobe folders will be created
Only if you are willing to remove entire Adobe files and folder , its like Formatting.
Run Adobe Cleaner tool and select Clean all option.
You need to delete / rename Adobe folders from below locations:
You need to delete Adobe folders from below 5 locations or rename it to Adobe-old.
Step 2)
Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window.
Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key.
appdata
It will open Appdata folder .
You need to delete Adobe folders from below 3 locations or rename it to Adobe-old.
Appdata> Local > Adobe.
Appdata > Locallow >Adobe.
Appdata > Roaming > Adobe.
